it's really hard to not fall into psychoanalyzing sheldon too much because it's been done so much and there is a lot of again like i said like deeper thoughts that some people have about him but

and especially now with young sheldon when you can point to his childhood a bit more so that's absolutely true yeah that it's hard you have to kind of stay away from that a little bit if you're just looking at big bang theory like we are

yeah and and also i think i also try to be very careful of when a character is truly dealing with something versus they just seem like they are but it's not canon so maybe we shouldn't say that So, like, for example, you know, there were a lot of people that thought Sheldon was asexual.

And some people were frustrated when Amy was introduced on the show because they kind of wanted Sheldon to be that representation.
