Shelby Carpenter

Anne Treadwell is the aunt of Laura, and she's the one that identified the body.

And he goes, and he's questioning her, and in walks our star of the evening, Vincent Price, who plays Shelby Carpenter, who is, as we talked about, kind of a lazy, weak, cowardly, playboy, good for nothing.

And we find out that he is affianced to Laura.

But Anne Treadwell, who is rich, has a, has the hots for him, and he's kinda playing both ladies.

So you've got four characters.

You got Waldo.

You've got Anne Treadwell, the aunt, uh, Shelby Carpenter, the fiance, and Bessie, the maid.

And they are all suspects in who killed Laura.
