You have to look at it as it's climate change makes events like this more likely.

Right.

So, you know, I think stepping back and you've talked about this a little bit already, but this is if you really zoom out, you know, we have this big what covered the story of the weather as the week started with this big historic high pressure dome sitting over the U.S. And so we were talking all time record temperatures for different parts of the U.S., And now what we're finding are big fires in Canada that's driving wildfire smoke into the northeast.

That's on the northern edge of this heat dome.

But on the southern edge is what we're experiencing, which is the rain.

So we've got this weathermaker stuck over Texas that's just spitting out these disturbances, causing these rounds of repeated rainfall.

But what we know about this area, Flash Flood Alley, right, this is an area that we saw last year and we talked about it.

How do you help people put that together?

Uh, yeah.

So I think that honestly, it really comes down to just how we have to see how the weather comes out, right? Because El Niño doesn't dictate everything.

But that being said, looking at the outlooks for summer and then going into the fall and winter, most of the country, not all of the country, but most of the country is expected to be above average.And it could actually have some benefits, and I'm gonna put a little asterisk to that.

But, you know, going back to that, what we, I think, started this, which was a warmer than average winter and the biggest snow drought and just this huge drought conditions that are happening across the United States.

And so as health professionals who are trying to communicate these risks in a rapidly changing climate, what advice do you have over the next year as we're seeing some of these events in terms of how we talk about it and how we connect it to climate change?
