God, I'm going to be a real big fence-sitter here.

Because... it's i'll tell you what before i go to the national before i go to the national i've got a couple of things a couple of things on my list that are kind of going to tie back into to get into the national so we've seen we've seen a couple of late announcements and a couple of signings and players retire So the Sheffield Steel Dogs were hit with the news that Bear Gedinov has retired at only 26.

From what I hear, he has a brilliant job lined up at home and just one that, you know, you can't turn down.

Obviously, it's fantastic to go play hockey.

Hockey's not the be-all and end-all.

What I liked is, so the announcement comes out that Gedinov's gone, and the Steel Dogs arguably go out and put off, in my mind, what is the best import signing of the off-season.

um here we go can't wait to butcher his name first attempt so apologies uh dante salaturo has signed with the sheffield steel dogs he's 29 years old absolutely in his prime stands at five foot nine inches tall he is a sentiment and a winger so he plays all across the board as a forward if you want to look at his pedigree ladies and gentlemen he played four years in the ohl with the ottawa 67s in his final three seasons there he went 59 points 78 points 83 points 37 goals and 38 goals in his final two years so my man knows where the back of the net is whilst Whilst making that step up into pro, he split time in the AHL and the ECHL, even going back down to the OHL in his senior year.

So he played for the Cleveland Monsters, he got one goal in five games.

So, big positive when it comes to their youth set up.

Uh, this weekend just gone, the Knights had a double header against the Sheffield Steel Dogs, um, running out to a defeat in both games.

A 7-5 defeat at home where they were trailing 7-1 at one point.

So, a good four goals in that final period just to get themselves to make that score line look a little bit better.

Yep.

Now, it was listed on the NIHL website a part of Steel Dogs, but I don't think he played a game for Steel Dogs.

He doesn't play a game for Steel Dogs.

But he was on the roster.

No.

And the final one, didn't ice for the Phantoms yet last season, but he was on their roster, Nathan Salem, back from injury, which is good to hear.

He has made the move to the Sheffield Steel Dogs.

So that's the players that they've lost.

Couple of the forwards that they have brought in.

I think he was getting second to third line minutes and, and looking well doing it again.

So excited to look at again, going off what Steelers were doing with the, um, getting the two ways in with the Steel Dogs and proving that the pathway can work and work your way in and just get that opportunity.

And, of course, he brought home Brandon Whistle too.
