Shea Connors

Brilliant wide overloads.

And another great finish from the, to me, undeniable MVP frontrunner herself, Shea Connors.

Five goals in six matches.

So it's a tremendous stat to have.

It was tremendous.

Both teams had a great attacking potential, and I think they both benefited on a wonderful cross by beset and then a great header by nacello and then for um connors to poach it in and then when it comes to lexington um it's a poised team uh former champs and they certainly know how to take advantage of the set pieces right There's brilliant attacking potential and there's some defensive vulnerabilities for the Tampa Bay Sun squad.

It was a match, I believe, defined by momentum swings, certainly individual brilliance that we saw with Shea Connors and the Sun ultimately shared the points in a stalemate that felt like a missing opportunity to climb higher up the table.

Now, Clearly, you're playing against a top team in the league, but you're at home.

Mia Green with three votes and Ellie Caspinello with two votes.

She joins previous winners Shea Connors and back-to-back wins for Teagan Riding, Steph Latham, and last year was Kyla Hanson.

That's our Brisbane Football Review NPR Women's Player of the Year.

Now it's time for our Teams of the Year.

Then we're going to be diving in into some rapid fire news happening around the sun.

Shea Connors, if she's watching, incredible form.

It was a tremendous goal.

Four goals in five games.

She had only one yellow card.

But she played over 90 minutes and she's playing at an elite level.

So kudos for Shea Connors.

And again, it's going to get even better.

They drop the ball when they're pressed high.

And if you catch them on a quick counter with players like Connors, who's on a high momentum, Nacello, With Zade, you know, their back line can get stretched and then boom shakalaka.

There's nothing you can do about that because Tampa is going to probably score.

Now, some of the virtues that 4-4 Lauderdale has are obviously their physical duels in the midfield are important.

So thank you to Morgan from Tampa Bay Sun Communications for getting back to me so quick.

We're excited, to be completely honest, to be part of this, and it's going to be fantastic.

I can't wait to see this team live, and definitely with the explosive front three that they have right now, which is Shea Connors and Nina Sello.

um you know and jordan said as well i mean she she's balling uh and uh it's exciting honestly uh so i think a lot of people need to get excited if you have not bought your tickets and do so make sure you go ahead and go to their website i know they do seat geek and uh just support the team uh it's gonna be a great game uh 110 so um it's gonna be fantastic so um My prediction for the lineup, I'm gonna go ahead and kind of give my insight right now for what the lineup could be.
