Goddamn.

That is one stellar line-up there.

I'm constantly making people watch Quiz Show.

And then the other one, little seen, but one of my favorite films, is Shattered Glass.

Oh, so good.

And that, that to me is an excellent film about the ways that lies can snowball and the ways in which- ... culture kind of can mediate outwards.

So Shattered Glass and Quiz Show, huge for me.

I saw Shattered Glass in the theater and I have been singing its praises ever since.

And you wanna revisit it all the time.

It's these types of films that you just kinda wanna, "Did I miss something?" And you go on the journey again.

And I was like, oh, we should watch it right now.

So we watched Shattered Glass.

It's a true story about a writer at the New Republic who basically cooks up all these stories.

And not just that, but he's a constant liar to everyone around him.

And eventually he gets caught.

[laughs] Who doesn't? Uh, Peter Sarsgaard as Luke.

Uh, I loved him in Shattered Glass, also-

He's a good actor

... very good actor.

He's like, who's that guy? Luke.

Luke's a big fan of Shattered Glass and the Canadian show Student Bodies, I believe it's called.

That would actually make sense.

Yeah, that's true.
