Shatrughna

He sits upon a splendid golden throne with ministers and his brothers nearby.

Seeing the two performers with their instruments, he addresses Lakshmana, Shatrughna and Bharata and calls their attention to the account being sung in sweet voices and expressive words.

The scene already has all the weight it needs.

An assembly, Rama, his brothers, ministers, two young singers and the Ramayana poised to be heard.

His mothers were once again with him.

And his brothers Bharat and Shatrughan were at his side.

The sight moved the sages deeply.

They had known the story of Ram's suffering.

So his devotees are so modest, considerate, civilized.

Therefore, before I saw Bharat with Shatrughna seated comfortably with the monkeys like Sugriva, Angara and Jambavan and surrounded by many handsome men, I saw Bharat and he's surrounded.

And I'm thinking he's Lord Ramachandra.

And I began to recite prayers addressing that to Bharat.
