Sharron Angle

Um, and on the Senate races at least, and I think a few of the House races, they have nominated some real turkeys.

I mean, they have found their version of Christine O'Donnell from 2010, right? And Sharon Angle that blew so many Senate seats Republicans could have won that year.

Uh, so I, I mean, I don't know.

Uh, I keep trying to think about...

Right.

Um, Harry Reid or Sharron Angle? And, um, and I just wonder what you think now, where we are without that power and the issues we have with the Colorado River for Nevada.

It's funny.

You know, I got involved in that to a degree because Orrin Hatch came to me from Utah, who was a good friend of mine, and John McCain, who was a very good friend of mine, very close to me, and they told me, they said, "Sig, if you lose Harry at these, at the table here, you're gonna hurt, Nevada's gonna be hurt." And they said, "Plus Sharron Angle is just a little too far somewhere." [clears throat] And so-

[laughs] Interesting way of putting it.

Um, the late pollster Mark Mellman wrote a wonderful article about that race and how they actually had won it within the first six weeks after the primary-

There was a period of time where it looked like he was gonna be softer than a lot of the other Dems, and so people were kinda setting it up like a factional fight where all of these other more normie Dems were gonna really outperform him.

Um, and some people were comparing him to sort of the, the Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, uh, who lost winnable races back in, in 2010.

I don't know.

I think he's better than that.

He sank, was it Maryland or Delaware? Kristen, I forget her last name.

He sank Sharon Angle in Nevada.

And that's why we ended up with more of Harry Reid.

He and his crew led the impeachment of Paxton.
