One quick note for a LGBTQ person out there who may be having a difficult time with a loved one around this issue, if your loved one is causing you harm in a physical, mental, emotional way, besides something of a disagreement where they're having a hard time understanding too, If they're not purposely trying to hurt you and they're trying to navigate it themselves, maybe spend the time in the space.

But if they're constantly calling you names and, you know, it's okay to say, I need some space.

But we don't have that relationship and I'm very fortunate.

And so we are able to have these dialogues as difficult as they are.
