Sharon Butala

One of them was like a young adult book, Staggiford we read, and then this one, North of Hope.

And then we also read like Louise Erdrich, Sharon Butala, I don't know if you're familiar with her book.

So we read Regional Lit and this one just stuck out partly because the professor who suggested it, I found out after we had read the book that he actually had left the priesthood.

And I was just so interested and I've been wanting to reread it.

Anyway, I'm up here for the launch of the latest title from Shadowpaw Press, which is Struck in the Heart, which is a literary thriller set in the COVID year.

Yeah, basically year, years, at the height of the pandemic, by Sharon Butala, who's an award-winning Canadian writer, lives here in Saskatoon.

So we have a launch tonight at McNally Robinson.

And in fact, if you're interested, you can go to the McNally Robinson website.

Actually, it's out now.

It came out this week as I'm recording this.

So Struck in the Heart by Sharon Butala is the latest one from Shadowpaw Press.

Okay, so that's a lot of that.
