But it's, they are the pillars of human flourishing, Islamic civilization, and they're essential, and without them, we won't have the Islamic civilization.

[inhales] Alhamdulillah, wa salatu wa salam 'ala rasulillah, ama ba'd.

And you've asked for something so enormous, um, and, and something that I like to do, and I think is useful for everybody, especially at the beginning of a topic such, as broad as this.

Is to kind of summarize in key points.

[lip smack] So number one, uh, we need to go back to our purpose in life.

Okay, so why did Allah put us on this earth? So the Mala'ikah tell Adam, uh, and us, the first story in the Quran, we are here to make tasbih of Allah, make hamd of Allah, to venerate Allah, to declare His perfection, and to be in awe of Him.
