Shannon Boxx

And I was wondering if you feel a similar sentiment about being one of the first trailblazing Black women on the team.

There was obviously Bryce Curry, Shannon Box, and others who came before, but only recently has access to watching the USWNT become more accessible.

So little girls sitting in front of their screens who look like Crystal Dunn could finally see someone like themselves on the field.

What does that mean to you?

And so I think that, you know, we're also seeing players getting into commentating and doing incredible at that.

Shannon Box is on the Turner broadcast for a U.S. Women's National Team game.

So is Becky Sauerbrunn.

Crystal Dunn was on there.

I don't even know if I really, like, remembered this little statistic about you, but according to US Soccer, you're the youngest goalkeeper ever to be called into a senior US camp.

That team had Christen Press, Ali Krieger, Megan Rapinoe, Sydney Leroux, Abby Wambach, Shannon Boxx.

And you went to camp, you were in high school.

What was that like for you?
