So the line we are diving into today is from Shanks.

From Shanks.

So in English, listen up, bandits.

Whether I'm sprayed with alcohol or doused with food, hell, even if I'm spit on, most of the time I'll just laugh it off and forget about it.

So this is a line from episode four.

It's an episode from Luffy's childhood in his hometown.

At the time, Luffy idolized Shanks of the red-haired pirates who was staying in the village.

Yeah, so I think Scopper, he's got like a bad impression of Luffy, right? I think he's trying to understand Luffy, but Luffy is just so irrational as a person.

The only person I could really compare is like Joy Boy or Gold D. Roger, right? And Scopper even being a subordinate of Roger in the past, finds it hard to really believe that this stupid rubber kid that just came out of nowhere is in any way, shape, or form comparable to his captain, right? Even after hearing it from Shanks and Rayleigh and Crocus and whoever, right? Scopper is having a hard time just seeing it for himself because the only thing he really knows of Luffy is Luffy stole the key, let Loki out, and also got his butt handed to him by Nerona Emu right here at this point.

But I do think Scopper is actually realizing Luffy's most dangerous superpower.

I mean, so that's another way that this arc ends, or at least this fight ends against Emu, is the red-haired pirates come and Shanks kind of stands up against... emu and emu is like i hate you because you like tricked me and yeah i think that he that is another way where like he fends off emu and sends him back to marie joie

i can't wait i think this is really heating up i really really really want to see just the davey back fight between the red hair pirates and the straw hats so that they can both be strong warriors of the sea right luffy comes back to shanks as a great pirate we get to see that storyline fulfilled and then moving forward we can focus all attention to preparing for the final battle

He wanted to gauge the distance in Mihawk's power, his own power, with Whitebeards, as well as testing individuals who were taking part in this battle to see if anyone was a worthy rival or challenger to him.

And then when Shanks turned up, he immediately withdraws, knowing that Shanks is one of his most... intense rivalries that he has within the world of one piece he also states that it's not part of the deal he signed up for so he withdraws as soon as shanks turns up but the idea of mihawk being the world's strongest or the world's greatest swordsman he's constantly challenging and seeing who is closing in on his level or who may be even stronger than him and then he has to up his game because mihawk is a master of his craft and you do not stop learning when you have mass you don't master something it's to master something means there is nothing else you that is left to learn and i'm a guitarist and i'm a big fan of metal and rock and classic rock and to say i know i know every kind of style of rock music or metal music but that doesn't mean i've mastered the guitar that means i've mastered two genres of the guitar i haven't moved into funk or jazz or the other different styles of art that come with being a musician and it's the same for being a swordsman as well you you don't fully master the the art of swordplay.

There are different styles of swordplay.

For example, fencing.

And then basically, that's it.

He's all powerful.

Now, then we get Shanks.

Shanks turns up and anytime Shanks turns up it's always a really impressive aura farming moment because he's one of the coolest people in the One Piece anime who's not really had that much screen time yet he's been able to amass this aura of I am the best.

But when it comes to promos, like promos, mangas, SPs, I do think there's like a percentage that goes into the price from the playability of it.

Like for example, the Shanks manga from OP17, just nasty card, absolutely nasty card.

And there's only two listings of that card versus the other three mangas have like 15 listings.

Is there any surprise to that? No.
