Well, you would find, I went to see Shane Todd recently in the lemon tree, and I would say probably three quarters of the audience were from Northern Ireland, as it turned out.

And a festival as well as, you know, like there's no walls, you're in a tent so you can't hear any of the, you know, the laughter and people are drunk and hungover and I... up and I did stuff and someone came up to me after they were like oh my oh I'm so sorry this is my dog um

half were just in the house eating dry super noodles crying yeah but I managed to save enough so I was going to Frankie and Benny's every day for lunch I was like I feel like it's like Tony Soprano or something they're like it's bastard but it but it was classic and then it was from that that we we met like um like Mickey Bartlett and Shane Todd and Sean Haggerty and stuff we all met they were all

doing stand-up they were all doing

stand-up and then kind of when that sort of just folded after a couple of years they were like we should do stand up and again it was always for me I never you never thought it was an option you know and then whenever like oh you could do this and I remember like probably most first gigs were bad and I'm like ah maybe I should just stick to the to this to the sketches and then i had a one bit do you ever like you just have one bit and it works and when i got that one bit i was like all right okay let's let's give that a go and then just yeah i've been doing that since then so yeah that's how i got in but you know the fringe was it was a big part in like meeting people and like you know seeing what it was like the you know because you're off work for the month you're like this is what it could be like if you were you know So I loved it.
