Shane Ryan

Most issues and talk about funding these days do center around the 2021 season, which makes sense because after this the league stopped operating and had severe funding issues, which is part of the reason why it stopped operating.

Publicly, Shane Ryan has said that the ISL owes him $50,000.

And of course, an interesting detail about him specifically saying that is that Shane Ryan is a swimmer that then did join the enhanced games.

It is unknown how much exactly is owed to swimmers across the entire league, but based on estimates from, you know, the figure that Shane Ryan is publicly saying and the number of athletes that are part of the league.

It is probably a pretty sizable amount.

Now, in July of this year, the ISL did send a letter to athletes detailing their plan to pay out the remaining balance that they owe them over the course of four annual installments, each making up 25% of the amount owed.
