back in the day so you know even you look at some of the famous campaigns certain goalkeepers have started the campaign and then like Darren Randolph for example went to the Euros came in in that campaign basically came on in that game when he assisted Shane Long so it's amazing the trials for goalkeepers is so difficult as a position you judge the mistakes and people are remembering them on those as well so absolutely brilliant to see him doing well because we want Irish players doing well

Yeah, it's not even a thing of just playing for Ireland and being a brilliant number two for Ireland, or if you ever get to see, it's just about, you want Irish players playing at the highest level, and you want these sort of lads to kind of set an example, and like how good would it be if we had two Irish keepers playing week in, week out in the Premiership, or in the top five leagues if we went over in the world, but.

so I just hope for his sake because you want an Irish player to play at the highest level and especially when you look at his talent you look at his talent and you think his form over the last 3-4 years has not reflected his ability so yeah I really hope that this can be the start of something really special for him
