And so yesterday, uh, I visited the boys at the Queen Vic Market, uh, and they were, all the families were doing runarounds, getting all their food for today's shoot, which was cooking a Christmas meal.

So Denise Scott and Shane Jacobson are actually going to come into everyone's houses and judge these meals, uh, which I just find really interesting coordination-wise.

Like, how do you keep the food warm?

Ah.

It's a mockumentary, so think Spinal Tap and things like that.

Um, it follows a chap called Kenny Smythe, played by, uh, an Australian actor, comedian called Shane Jacobson.

He runs a waste management company dealing mainly with things like portaloos for things like festivals and things like that.

And the film just kind of follows him round in his day-to-day business, follows him, a little bit of his personal life, a little bit of his professional life, and the trials and tribulations of all the things that he gets up to as he tries to stay eternally polite and optimistic.

I mean, it's a great script.

I do wonder how much of this is written and how much of it is improvised.

It's a real family affair, so Shane Jacobson's in it.

I think his brother directs it.

You know, you know, the-

It's a Christmas comedy show.

I've mentioned it before on this podcast, but our judges are Shane Jacobson, Jimmy Rees, and Denise Scott.

And geez, they're just such funny, lovely people, and it's a pleasure to have them on the show.

He did a wonderful job.

Shane Jacobson wasn't available because he's starring in every single commercial on television.

Well, he'll be here soon probably for the Sunshine Coast Business Awards again.

Well, that's obviously what happened.

And then they offered Nicolas Cage the Sunshine Coast Business Awards and he said...

I've heard him and Rosanna Natoli butt heads occasionally, so that wasn't going to work.

So they said, all right, Nicholas, you film Kenny too, and we'll get Shane Jacobson to do the awards.
