Shane Heal

They've been playing some really good basketball so far this season.

We're going to catch up with a former Sydney King, Shane Heal, in just a second.

Firstly, let's have a listen in to the dying stages as the Sydney Kings won their match last night against Illawarra.

Taking on their rival who sit at the bottom of the table, Kendrick Davis, right down the middle to open us up.

A massive thanks to Shane for joining the show.

That you are.

Great to be able to chat to Shane Heal on the show today.

We should make mention WNBA finals continue on on Sunday.

So we were coming out here trying to help build, uh, you know, the culture, the, the play, and then, you know, you're involved, and by...

while having Andrew Gaze and, you know, um, Shane Heal and all those guys being under us, came up and became great players as well, and some of them made it to the NBA as well.

So, you know, we, we feel...

I mean, I feel good about that because I've been here since '81.

Paul's-

He's good friends with, um, Shane Heal as well, and a- and apparently there was-

How's that relevant?

Well, I was about to tell you, but okay, we won't move on.

It's a super cutthroat league, isn't it? And I think it's hypercompetitive in the same way that the NBA is.

I think it was Shane Heal's daughter that was drafted in the first round, and then she was cut soon after that.

The comparison, I think, in my head for that is Rob Dillingham.

That guy is ultra-talented, was a high draft pick.
