So, before I blather on anymore, Brad, how'd you get along with this?

Mine Cart Madness

36:31BedrothHOST
... fantastic here.
B
36:32BedrothHOST
I was a little confused at first because when I saw Shadowgate, my mind went to Shadowrun, which has a completely different aesthetic.
B
36:39BryanHOST
Hmm.

36:39BedrothHOST
Although-

B
36:50BedrothHOST
But not Shadowgate, Shadowrun, if I didn't say that right.
B
36:53BedrothHOST
Anyway, um- But I do like how unique this is in all the ways that you pointed out, the fact that it's, it's first person, you are actually in the mine cart.

J
30:59JoleneHOST
I didn't realize how much it was like Shadowrun until we played it.
S
31:02SaulHOST
Well, yeah.
S
31:04SaulHOST
I mean, Shadowrun is in the setting, yeah.
J

possible house rules are going to potentially help us have this type of environment.
J

So, for example, when Shadowrun used to have a lovely rule that if you brought snacks to the game, you could get free karma.
J
9:23JessPANELIST
Now, if you were the type of GM where you're like, I love snacks, right? That could be potentially very beneficial.
J
9:31JessPANELIST
But if you're also around a bunch of people and they're like, hey, that's not fair because I can't bring snacks, then it seems like it's unfair.

R
38:33Ross WatsonHOST
And often one of the moral quandaries in a Shadowrun game is like, "Hey, this guy's just doing his job.
R
38:39Ross WatsonHOST
Do we need to murder him to accomplish our goal?" You know.
R
38:44Ross WatsonHOST
Um, but I, I think, I think it- there are...
