ShadowClan

I got lost a lot.

I accidentally found myself in ShadowClan.

And I don't actually think it matters.

Like, I think you can, like, go around the map and just, like, do whatever you want.

And...

But I think it's kind of fun to pretend that I was an apprentice who was not supposed to be in ShadowClan because I could not go back the way I came.

So I was, like, sneaking.

I was, like, sneaking past everything, like, as best as I could just because I'm like, I'm not supposed to be here.

Which is like...

I think the only other clan that's more accepting... of their own members is ShadowClan because how many more times can they be taken over by evil people? Because every time they're like, no, no, they

have the best in mind.

Ah, it's another evil guy.

Yeah, so it's like ThunderClan's just like, oh, we believe you and trust you because you're a clan member.

And it usually works out for them.

ShadowClan, they do the same thing and it doesn't work out.

In spite of what he said about needing to hurry, when he thought about what might be happening back in the forest, Firestar's courage seemed to be draining out through his paws, and it was hard not to turn around and go racing home to his clan.

What if the badger had come back? How would the other clans react when they discovered he had gone? Only a few moons ago, they had all been united against BloodClan, but how long would that alliance survive? Leopardstar would steal back the Sunningrocks if she thought she could get away with it, while Blackstar would take any opportunity to extend ShadowClan's territory.

Firestar suddenly felt scared and exposed.

He had left the forest and the warrior code far behind him, and he wasn't sure any longer that he knew why.

They're just letting you know some of the things that have been happening.

Around that, ShadowClan has talked about how some of the people have died from the monsters on the Thunderpath.

What? Yep, so the Thunderpath.

So I will let you know that is what they call cars.

You have ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and RiverClan.

And there's a fifth one too, right?

Yeah.

It's incredibly relevant political fiction played out by cats on a moor.

Seriously.

Then in 2022, they released Exile from ShadowClan, which is arguably the heaviest narrative they've tackled in the graphic novel format.

I would agree with that.
