Shade tree

[upbeat music] [audience cheering] [didgeridoo playing] Long, long ago on the vast sun-drenched plains, the animals baked under a blazing sun.

Surrounded by nothing but tough, spiky grass, scattered scraggly shrubs, and endless gritty sand, they had nowhere to hide from the sun's scorching rays until they discovered the shade tree.

With its strong, thick trunk and wide, leafy canopy, the shade tree was the only source of shade as far as the eye could see.

So the animals gathered beneath its sprawling, jutting branches and decided to make the cool, shadowy sanctuary their home.

But every home needs a protector.

Oh, that's what this is? [laughs] I don't mind at all.

Great.

[gentle music] Echidna was excited to be the official guardian of the shade tree.
