again i know we're trying to get to it and i can't stop myself but i missed an email that really sort of made me laugh and i forgot to bring it up and we had a little bit of a gap in recording but uh our friend ian from the fugazi uh a to z podcast sent a note right um after the sexy sadie podcast and You know, we were sort of talking that they landed on Sexy Sadie as a kind of sort of a syllabic.

Syllabic? Tommy, help me with that.

I'm just going to pick two that are kind of always hovering up there near the top.

And those are Sexy Sadie and You Never Give Me Your Money.

A John and a Paul song.

Good choices.

I think just Sexy Sadie, that's one that I normally don't have super strong opinions about the different mixes, but that one I hated the remix remaster because the piano is like almost inaudible for big chunks of that.

And that drives me nuts because I love the piano part on that song.

And I like having an upbeat one and I love monkey into mother nature's son into Savoy truffle, which is my second George song.

Then into Blackbird, then into sexy Sadie into helter skelter.

and then it closes with good night still sung by Ringo.

And then to keep the party going, the side two, we start with to get or start the process of ramping things up.

Again, very short.

Sexy Sadie, I thought, was a pretty good song.

I mean, a lot of these I've heard before, actually.

But I really focus on, um, Manson's twisted mind and how he took songs like Blackbird and Helter Skelter and Sexy Sadie, um, and kind of made them his own and used them, weaponized them, uh, to convince the other members of the Manson family to, to, to go along with his, you know, his murderous scheme.
