Yeah

... there's less and less money from the state, and districts like Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay are impacted by that far more than, say, Sevastopol or Gibraltar, right? Because of the really the value, the tax base per pupil-

Mm-hmm

... that we're seeing that drop off.

Uh, but I can say, uh, being my fifth referendum, fourth operational in my time here-

... that we understand, as I learned from whether Joe Studding, who was the superintendent before me, and he gave me local context, or I've learned from all of our board members over the years, like, understand that as we go through our process, which might be a little different than, you know, in Southern Door or Sevastopol or Lux Castle or whatever, right? That's normal.

Or Marinette, where I grew up, right? The reality is that our process is really Largely informed and based on past referendum processes, as we've looked at, okay, what types of things does the community wanna hear about? What types of questions or requests offered information, right? H-how has that worked? So we're not starting from scratch every time.

That's how I got to know a lot of friends.

I think that's part of the reason why I think people think I was, grew up here, 'cause I did know a lot of kids, uh, that went to Sevastopol just 'cause in Jacksonport that's where a lot of kids were from.

And so just growing up, that's kinda...

That was one of the experiences.

I will say, this was fun.

I was in student council and, um, I actually was able to finagle one day of my life at Sevastopol School, and we, we s- we framed it as a student council exchange.
