Okay.

let's pivot over to my first one i get two i get two here i'm worried one might step on your toes so i'll start with this one i was trying to get adventurous and creative with the angle that takes and for this one it's going to be the big east and others so none p5 will get more at large bids than the big 12. and i'm conducting this and pitching it as hot because right now joe lenardi's preseason bracketology has the big 12 getting 10 at-large bids so 11 teams and the big east and others getting seven total at-large bids so they're already three less there's some ground to make up there the top of the big 12 is outstanding i think especially the top four iowa state kansas houston arizona and then if texas tech gets all their guys they're incredible think it's be tough for some of those teams to get those middling bubble teams to get wins over that group and I like the Big East enough one through eight I'll say sorry to Georgetown Butler and Seton Hall enough that there's gonna be some feisty teams there and I just love that I get all the a 10 Mountain West WCC American and

like high point I think is gonna be right in the conversation for an at-large bid with this year of the extra extra bids i think there's going to be a fairly strong outcry for let's get some of these other leagues represented and i think wins against bubble we've made the case on this pod before we'll end up helping some of those teams that ordinarily might not have the top end wins but can get them into that position where they be in as we are dubbing it the tasty 12. so i think the big east plus the others ends up outpacing the big 12 in at-large bids

If that Seton Hall kid, the Payne guy, can get ruled eligible.
Troy ChewningGUEST
17:14
I think just based on a sixth preseason poll ranking, if he's eligible, I could see fourth or third or something like that is all.
Troy ChewningGUEST
17:24
With who?
Adam HammerHOST

Noah BieniekHOST
40:10
But this year, the Pirates will have a little bit more offensive talent in this portal hall, especially that backcourt.
Noah BieniekHOST
40:17
But many of these players have much less of a defensive background.
Noah BieniekHOST
40:20
So I actually like the leap of faith that Shaheen's doing here, trying to build his roster this way and trusting in his defensive kind of foundation in his program and the pillars there that he's going to preach to these guys to hopefully give them the place in defense.
Noah BieniekHOST
40:36
Because...
Noah BieniekHOST
40:37
He's had three top 35 defenses in four seasons with the Pirates, but the offense has been putrid.
Noah BieniekHOST
40:43
So if you have natural offensive talent, you get them to play good defense.
Noah BieniekHOST
