Seth Brown

There were only two wildcard teams that year and only four teams who did not win their division finished ahead of the A's, the Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, and Mariners.

They had a good nucleus of players in the two mats, Olsen and Chapman, Elvis Andrews, Jed Lowry, Mark Canna, Starling Marte, Ramon Laureano, Seth Brown, Sean Murphy, etc., Plus, they had a good starting staff of Bassett, Minaya, Montes, Blackburn, Luzardo, and Kaprelian.

The bullpen was Trevino, Puck, Acevedo, Petit, Kolarik, Diekman, Romo.

When Delkin fires Feliz, this was the last time an A's team finished above .500.

Ramon Laureano still bounced around.

He's still a good player.

Seth Brown was awful very quickly.

Sean Murphy.

And I was, I was kind of hoping townie might be on.

But my niece's husband, Seth Brown, played for the A's for about, what, seven or eight years, and he always spoke so highly of Mark Kotze, a true leader in the clubhouse, on the field.

And no one's talking about it.

I'm nervous.
