um villa and avon are the ones that are supposed to be left behind on the liberator with nothing to do and they end up having like one of the best blake seven adventures we ever get to see they basically go and um essentially they rob a casino they cheat in the casino and get very very rich out of it and i love the fact that they're like yeah we can go and make loads of money like we've got we've got a ship here that's basically got a vault full of gold and jewellery and everything, but let's just go and bust open a casino with Aurac, because why not? He makes the B plot the best bit and he basically turns everything Avon and Villa into one of his double acts so we love a Robert Holmes double act there's so many of them across Doctor Who and what he does here is take the two regulars that have got nothing to do in the episode and turn them into one and it's just it's as entertaining as Jago and Lightfoot or anything else like that it's just wonderful and The A-plot is a lot of fun, though.
