Series Mania

As old wounds resurface, Darcy must confront the parts of himself he tried to leave behind or risk losing himself entirely.

The creator, lead writer, and one of the directors of the series, is AP Popjoy, a Sydney-based creative who was in France for Series Mania in March when we spoke, where Homebodies had its world premiere.

We discussed how they got into filmmaking, the importance of trans representation on our screens, and much more.

I think there was something about it that we couldn't quite wrap our heads around at first.

There was a strategy around which festivals we submitted to, and we submitted to Cannes Series and Series Mania.

And we would've gone for some American festivals as well, except that our timing with where we were at in post-production didn't quite line up.
