Sergio Gómez

We should've been ahead by more in that first half.

However, they did pull a goal back through Sergio Gomez and from that point forward, yeah, we were hanging on somewhat.

We got Julie Petrovich to thank massively-

What a performance

Top work by the fans.

Adama Traore, still a mystery to himself and to us, but here he scared the bejesus out of Sergio Gomez at left-back and threatened to be the anarchy which turned 3-0 to 3-3.

Now, what about Alex Romero? Point four.

No World Cup winner's medal because he was dropped just before the tournament.

Virgil, though, what do you think? Is there a genuine argument here to give him another one plus one deal or something similar?

I don't see why not in all honesty like it's not like he's dropping off and it's like it's not like he's changed hugely in the last couple of years like he hasn't exactly lost like huge amounts of pace or anything like that and he's still like dominating the stats for like the headers won clearances made passes into the final third like he's still performing at a very high level and like I said as well we are going to be still looking for centre backs in the summer as well like Sergio Gomez has begun our backups in terms of Tarawindo as well could potentially be gone Araujo another situation we don't know what's going on like we are going to be needing signings there anyway.

So if we can keep Van Dijk for another year or two, it solves a few problems.

It solves one signing for now.

And yeah, it worked.

Sergio Gomez with their goal.

I think he used to play for Man City.

He whipped it across and it went straight through.
