Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:09
Um, yeah, he's number eight in the media rankings, uh, and number eight also in the meta rank.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:17
Oh, 'cause he beat Sergei Spivak, so he just took his spot.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:19
I know he'll be ranked in my top 10 when, uh, when we update that after, um, UFC 331.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:24
Uh, where'd you go, Jed? Where'd you go for Mr.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:31
Yeah, wow.
Jed MeshewHOST
41:32
I went the other side of that ball.
Jed MeshewHOST
41:34
I went Sergei Spivak for Blaydes.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
41:36
Hmm.
Daniel VreelandHOST
9:38
I don't think his grappling is that good.
Daniel VreelandHOST
9:39
And look, it held up against Sergei Spivak and it made me pump the brakes just a little bit and be like, okay, wait a second.
Daniel VreelandHOST
9:45
His grappling isn't the worst heavyweight boxer grappling I've ever seen.
Daniel VreelandHOST
9:51
like isn't curtis blades a different level than that you know like curtis blades i know he had the one bad grappling fight when it came to gelton almeida i kind of think gelton almeida when he chooses to grapple does really well but like outside of that like as long as curtis blades remembers he has a double leg he's fine you know what i mean like it's not like there are tons of people out there who have like stuffed his takedowns and you know he's coming off that loss of josh hokit right and You can say what you want about that fight, but at the end of the day, Josh Hogan has proven himself in if he's going to have trouble with wrestling, obviously against a guy who is a high-level college wrestler like Hogan and a phenomenal athlete.

Cody SafticHOST
37:51
Onte thought he won the fight, then they resumed it, then he got knocked out.
Cody SafticHOST
37:55
Sergei Spivak.
Paul ShaughnessyHOST
37:56
Hmm.
Cody SafticHOST
37:56
Sergei Spivak can wrestle.
Cody SafticHOST
38:00
And so Sergei Spivak shoots a few takedowns, and all of a sudden he gets them, and he sets up top control, and he ends up, you know, having some decent pockets of success.
Cody SafticHOST
38:09
But Spivak's by no means a good wrestler.
Cody SafticHOST
38:12
It's like I, I kind of struggle to see where he's fought any wrestlers.
Mike HeckHOST
59:17
Sure.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
59:19
Pinto, Sergei Spivak, Andruska, Rob Font.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
59:23
Whoa, another veteran test.
Alexander K. LeeHOST
59:24
Damn, okay.
TommyHOST
5:54
And the UFC could have put anybody, literally anybody, at 155 against this guy, and Paris would have forked up for it.
TommyHOST
6:00
I mean, they filled this arena one time with Gon versus Sergey Spivak.
TommyHOST
6:04
OK, but you put Dan Hooker in there and now it's a party.
TommyHOST
6:06
Now it's a good time.
SeanHOST
26:57
He's a very bland, just traditional heavyweight fighter.
SeanHOST
27:00
You know, we saw a couple weeks ago with Sergei Spivak.
SeanHOST
27:02
It's kind of like that same type of fighting where it's just like...
SeanHOST
27:06
I feel like we shouldn't be going to the decision if we're a heavyweight.
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:26
...
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:26
he feels like the kind of guy who could step in right now, stuff three takedowns from Sergey Spivak and, like, really make that dude work.
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:33
And I don't know if he'd beat Sergey Spivak, but, like, I'd have...
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:37
I'd go back and watch film and, like, ask myself, like, is it...
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:40
It wouldn't be immediately like, "No, Sergey Spivak's got this." So, uh-
Jeff FoxHOST
31:44
Yeah
Daniel VreelandHOST
31:45
... like I, I think that's, like, uh, at least the temporary upside for Charlie Cleveland.
Daniel VreelandHOST
30:26
...
Daniel VreelandHOST

he feels like the kind of guy who could step in right now, stuff three takedowns from Sergei Spivak and like really make that dude work.
Daniel VreelandHOST

Daniel VreelandHOST

Jeff FoxHOST
30:44

Connor RuebuschHOST
40:35

Phil MackenzieHOST
40:36

Connor RuebuschHOST
40:42

Phil MackenzieHOST
40:42
