Sequentia

Chad and Baroque is celebrating 35 years, and part of that celebration includes Renaissance and Baroque, their legacy concert, which is this concert that features the medieval ensemble Sequentia, led by Benjamin Bagby and Norbert Rodenkirchen.

It's The Wanderer, exploring journeys of exile, pilgrimage, and fate through vivid musical narratives drawn from Beowulf and Anglo-Saxon elegies of loss interwoven with instrumental works rooted in early melodic traditions.

This evocative program brings to life a world of perilous travel, memory, and longing.
