Sequel

Yeah, this is, like, this is pre-Eyes Wide Shut and pre-The Others, you know, like, which I think is really where her career takes a turn into, you know, more serious stuff.

But, I mean, yeah, you know, maybe I went in with somewhat higher expectations because this is Spawn to Sequel and because I think people generally talk about this movie as being, like, a comfort watch movie.

you know, in, in that sort of sisterhood of the traveling pants kind of way.

Um, but I was kind of surprised at how all over the map it is because it's like, it is super cozy and it is, it gives you this very kind of like idealized female empowerment story in a new England village and, you know, all that stuff.

Get in that time machine, listen to those episodes, and then come back.

Interestingly, you do kind of have to go back because one of the things I love to do in September is something called Sequel-tember.

I've done it a few times actually, and Sequel-tember has returned with, this time around, some of the biggest sequels of all time.

And up first is a sequel to an episode from back in episode 250.

So it has taken its time to get here, pun intended, and it's basically about going back in time to stop a dystopian future from happening, which I'm sure we would all do in 2026 because things aren't great, guys.

We were at Cardinal Newman, so it was great to see him get in the end zone.

And then kind of the secret weapon of camp, Sequel Patterson, with only one catch, which is to see that performance with, you know, maybe one of your brightest stars, not having had a huge game, lots of depth on the perimeter here for this offense.

With Lenoris, it felt like he shook off a couple of cobwebs early in the game.

You know, that's not, that's not a term that we use.

Sequel's coming.

Did you did y'all see what really Scott said about it? I Yeah, I know about the Sequel thing that he's trying to do but I don't know about the comments Well, he had said that alien Romulus was okay And he feels that by him stepping back into it will save the franchise and I'm like sir Romulus the franchise because Prometheus as good as it was.

I'm like, okay cool covenant.

Okay, cool And then now we're sitting in limbo where we're like, so where's David? Like what is what is he doing? And they announced that there will be a sequel to covenant which will answer questions because now When I watched I think aliens to the other night.
