Seqenenre Tao

Uh, the, the southerners are paying a tribute to the northerners, and, uh, the northern king gets a little bit of, maybe, you know, like a late night party or something like that, and he decides it'd be really funny to send a letter to the king in the south.

His name was Sekenenre Tao.

And he sent a letter saying, "Hey, you need to shut your hippopotamuses up, because they're keeping me up at night."

[laughs]

... and they're 500 miles away.

Yeah.

And Apepi's like, "Shut up your hippopotamuses or kill them." And Sekenenre Tao, Tao has had enough of it.

He considers that a, like a, an insult that needs to be responded to, and so he marches north with his army to, uh, to fight King Apepi.
