Seoul Subway Line 5

Believe me, twice I've had an office there, and I work late nights and I go out for something to eat, and it's dead.

It does have a few subway lines that go through there, Line 5, Line 9, the evil Gold Line 9, and so it's very crowded.

Go to Yeouido only if you have to go to Yeouido.

There's some really good high-end hotels there, and it's right across the bridge from Gondeok, so that's one of the positives about it.

Then, of course, Line 3 connected it to Gangnam, the wealthy Gangnam suburbs.

And then Line 5 in the 80s connected it to the Yeouido Financial District.

So it became a convenient convergence for a lot of people going out to have a little bit of fun.

Also, Jeongno-seongga in the 1970s started to become a queer sanctuary.
