Pretty soon, you've been on your magical bar of glass in the toothpaste aisle for 40 minutes trying to figure out what is the exact right toothpaste for you.

But Sensodyne has been in a little bit of a dispute with the Advertising Standards Authority.

The Advertising Standards Authority said that they could not continue to claim that Sensodyne is the number one dentist recommended brand because they didn't present data to back up that claim.

And in the United Kingdom, their version of the Advertising Standards Authority.

banned advertisements for Sensodyne True White because the rival brand, Colgate, that I use challenged the Sensodyne claims that the toothpaste possessed superior whitening properties.

There, they ruled that Sensodyne failed to provide evidence proving that the product had a perceptibly greater whitening effect than its standard non-whitening sensitive alternatives.

And reading all of that made me wonder whether there's any difference in the commercially available.

As long as one is brushing one's teeth and flossing more regularly than I do.
