Send Me On My Way

Cecilia is not annoying.

Even Send Me On My Way is a lot at this point.

It's been 30 years of the flute.

But...

Well, with a food this popular, it's too long to list all the ways it's shown up in pop culture.

But to name some, pancakes make cameos in film and TV, like the movie Matilda from 1996, famous for the scene where Matilda makes perfectly formed pancakes while the song Send Me On My Way plays.

The movie Rain Man from 1988 highlights a strict routine where Dustin Hoffman's character eats pancakes every Tuesday.

The movie Uncle Buck from 1989 is known for the comically massive pancakes cooked by John Candy's character.

That's a heavy ass pancake.

Yeah.

Well, there's the song Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson from 2005.

Make your banana pancakes

Everything.

Now they have two actual songs, Send Me On My Way by Rusty Root, which always brings me back to Matilda.

Send me on my way.

Send me on my way.

I would like to go my own way.

Wow.
