Well, today we are looking at the alternative rock song Self Aware by Temper City.

Hmm.

And it asks a really uncomfortable question: What happens when knowing your own flaws actually makes them harder to ignore?

They can bring in the emotional immediacy that we usually associate with newer styles.

Or keep the music loud and driving.

And that is why the title Self Aware ends up being brilliant.

It leaves so much room for interpretation.

BTS are, of course, signed in the US through Geffen, which is a part of Interscope, which has had a rather busy week.

Back in February, when Tempur-City's Self-Aware emerged seemingly out of nowhere onto the Spotify charts, it looked like Tempur-City might be AI.

After all, Tempur-City checked at least three of Virginie Berger's list of AI tells.

It got really big really fast, there was no previous IP history, and it was self-distributed.
