They know a lot, they are a super experienced team and therefore I'm really excited to talk to Nick today about the history of Northwest Rapid, how the company was founded, because we've had some really cool founding stories on the show in the past few episodes.

how they work with customers early in the design process, why SLS remains such a powerful technology for industries that are demanding, right? Industries like medical, like aerospace, and of course, the emerging UAV, UAS, drone, robotics space.

And therefore, I also want to dive a bit deeper into some of the applications that he's seen, from lightweight structures to things like fuel tanks, and talk about also something that does not get a lot of attention still in the aerospace, which is their in-depth experience in post-processing and things like coatings and ceilings, and really all those secondary steps that turn a printed part into a real application for high-performance deployment.

so therefore nick a long intro but definitely worth it super excited to have you on the show thank you for having me i appreciate it so nick like i mentioned i really love origin stories i do like to tell also the founding story so tell us a little bit about how northwest rapids was founded how did the company get started and how did you get to where you are today

you know, in situ really knew and saw that the technology could reduce part count, lower weight, increase loiter time.

It really had all the, it checked all the check marks that you needed to kind of dominate that market early on.

And so you saw it, you can do the complex geometry, you can remove parts, part count from it with using the EOS SLS technology.

And it was just it was a perfect fit for him.
