Seldinger technique

So we have to update our knowledge around how we've changed the patient care and how we've changed how we do things.

Of course, there is then the question about big, what we'll call surgical chest drains versus Seldinger chest drains.

I see committed to the return of committed, I believe it's called, is looking at this question.

I think there has been some pretty good evidence that Seldinger chest strains are fine in certain hemothoraces, although my cardiothoracic colleagues are yet to really buy into that, but committed to, if you are able to be part of that, that is worth investigating.

And I think it's recruiting now, or at least will be very soon.

So chest strains can be very necessary, but I think being thoughtful is really important.
