We have a greenhouse, an 18-foot diameter geodesic greenhouse.

And when we added that, it was through a grant from a company called Seeds of Change.

And that really helped us expand how much we could grow from seed.

It's really hard to grow things from seed unless you have proper propagation spaces, especially at the level that we were needing.

And you want to walk through your field and look to see, did you plant what you thought you were going to plant in that spot? And modify that printout to represent reality.

Today's mini-sode is about how to wrap up your farming season and your seed season with good records.

But first, last week on September 5th was actually the one-year anniversary from episode 30 of the Seed Farmer podcast, a mini-sode about picking peppers for seed.

And I mean, though that's a good episode in itself...

The fact that it's an anniversary is that's when I switched to publishing a Seed Farmer episode every week of the year.

And 90% said that there was barely any grass in the field in their animals' diet now.

So what has gone wrong with the grass? Do we now need more drought-resistant pasture or have we too many animals for what we're able to grow these days? In a field in Waterford, DLF Seeds is trying to find the grass of the future, one that will fill bellies, flourish in floods and not die off in drought.

What was it? Was it a yellow or was it an orange

rain? It was a yellow last week.

And how wet did it get? We got a couple of blasts of about 30 mils at a time.

There was a pretty intense hour and a half on Friday evening and it just ran straight off.

robotics and with this new technology platform that they will shove into you know the industry through ag science departments across the united states you know in our universities you know that's it's it's coming you can't stop it so where are you going to play in this and that's where we look at legalities and how you structure your operations now and that's what we are doing in the beef initiative and that's something we will be able to talk about later on today

So like agri-data or whatever we call it now, that exists at the seed level as well.

I think we talked about this because you did one of your pieces that you put out years and years ago was Source of the Seed and who owns the seed and that like James Bond style seed bank facility.

So they know...

They know exactly what crops are being planted, when they're being planted, where they're being planted, where the seed came from, i.e. who has the copyright or patent or contract to that seed.

I feel like he can do more to impact games so I'll be interested to see if his input will improve now that he's in a better team but I think as a depth option for City to take some of the load off, particularly Doku and Semenyo who tend to be, it feels like Foden is still fighting for his place in this City team.

But Doku and Semenu, I think, are the first two first choice two wingers, wide players.

It feels like Ndai is a good option to take some of the burden off them.

Yeah, I personally would just prefer to keep Savio than go and sign Ndai, but I am a Savio sympathizer, so we'll see if that take ages well or poorly.

You got to imagine most weeks we're going to see Enzo, Elliott, and Cherokee.

Don't go with Semenu and Hallin.
