Senator, I want to get your reaction to this because one of your Senate colleagues, Chris Murphy, tweeted, there is no reason to give an antitrust exemption to preserve a deeply unjust system of athlete exploitation.

Yet, in the House versus NCAA lawsuit, it was filed in U.S. District Court in California against the NCAA by college athletes, Arizona State swimmer Grant House and TCU basketball player Sedona Prince, and they reached a settlement.

So to me, with that as a backdrop, It seems to me that athletes have been involved because, like you said, you're codifying essentially the House settlement, correct?

That's exactly right, Randy.

So yeah, This is somebody I think the Bears really need right now and somebody who can step in with experience and be ready to go.

Yeah, and just a force in the middle, right? Like someone who has a lot of the Sedona Prince kind of prototype as a player, not anything else, as a player.

A force in the middle and a force in the paint, which is something that all great Baylor teams have had, ironically, through Kim Mulkey.

Well, I actually was kind of similar.

But do you remember, you know, Sedona, the like basketball player? She was big on TikTok.

I don't know if she still is, but she was dating this girl, Riley.

And she kind of did that same thing

to her.

Like Riley came out.

Sedona did it to Riley? Yes.

Like Riley came out afterwards and was like, she's terrifying.
