The founder of the Oath Keepers, L. Stuart Rhodes, Yale Law School graduate, was, up until Trump released him back in 2025, serving close to a 20-year sentence for seditious conspiracy.

Seditious as in sedition for the role he played on January 6th.

He showed up to Washington, D.C. in the lead-up to January 6th with a cache of weapons that could supply a small army.
