Star Trek Beyond.

Star Trek Beyond was one of my favourites.

I was a bit surprised, actually.

And it was just after I made the joke about Section 31, you were like, no, no, Star Trek Beyond.

It just seemed like you were continuing the riff.

What would happen if all was not well in that institution? And they talk about it like a training day Star Trek.

Now, this is interesting because I know you don't follow it as deeply as I do, Justin, but they, in Deep Space Nine, introduced a faction called Section 31.

And this was like a covert ops group.

version of Starfleet, where let's just say the Federation's ideals don't necessarily gel.

So it's kind of an interesting concept.

Training Day is a good movie.

And I think you're right that that does sort of line up with how Section 31 kind of fits into the into the setting.

So it would it would be an interesting take.

It added so much to Bashir.

So it adds just that color, even when he does episodes, which are, in many ways, traditional or generic, generic sci fi doctor tropes with sort of like, you know, solving an incurable disease or Later stuff where he gets into, like, he is deeply connected to the best version of Section 31.

Like, his stuff in the later seasons where they're trying to recruit him in.

With Sloane and

He is the moral compass of going, I will not pass that line.

I often think

of that Section 31 stuff in negative terms when I haven't watched it lately.
