Trade discussions between the US and Mexico continue to sail along with the latest round of talks held on the sidelines of the recent Milwaukee G-twenty trade ministerial between USTR Jamieson Greer and Mexican Minister of Economy Marcelo Ebrard.

According to a press release by Mexico's Secretaria de Economia, teams led by Ebrard and Greer held a working meeting in Milwaukee on October first that reportedly lasted nearly an hour, and Ebrard said that Mexico and the US are drawing closer on many fronts, moving forward, aligning positions, and resolving issues.

Ebrard reiterated in the press release that the two sides are moving forward, moving forward, moving forward.

He added that Mexico must persevere because it's getting closer every day to reaching new agreements.
