But it's going to be an exciting weekend.

And then that Friday, we also have a couple other side events, one of which includes the Alternative Mass Media Conference, which I think is sold out.

So, you know, being involved, I think, ultimately at the end of the day and continuing to push forward and getting out to vote are all important things.

And also, I think just the networking, which is why I believe that the conference, the policy conference you guys support is the GRPC, ladies and gentlemen, the Gun Rights Policy Conference is coming up September 25th through the 27th in Dallas, Texas.

And then in the 60s, this actually does kind of come to a head where people need to start doing the work.

But it's probably about 30 years ago that the Second Amendment Foundation started doing not just like fundraising and grassroots lobbying and stuff like this, stuff that normal, you know, normal advocacy and activism groups do.

The Second Amendment Foundation started to do really serious legal research and like scholarly writing on gun laws and gun laws of the past.

And so when Heller and Bruin and other gun cases start to come up, There is a solid corpus of writing on this, and it's become a defined thing that you can study as a lawyer.

And so the guys that we have defending constitutional rights in the United States speaking about gun law are doing so from a much better position than, say, the 50s, where, well, Obviously, we wrote the Second Amendment, but there haven't been a lot of cases and we haven't really developed the scholarship that is necessary to make some of these cases well.

Second Amendment Foundation started that decades ago and we're seeing the fruit for that in the judicial side.

But then we're also seeing cultural development as well as people are allowed to own and carry guns and we remove.

It's really interesting how some of the stigma around guns floated in to our culture before, I would say, some of the defense mechanisms, some of the good arguments for owning firearms, for using firearms.

So again, didn't know who he was, but as I'm standing there and I took a picture, Eric, because he was getting interviewed right beside Doug Hammond was getting interviewed.

And I'm like, This is one picture, and this is two of the most powerful pro-2A organizations, and they're here for Diana and Women for Gun Rights because they're showing support, along with, of course, the head of SAF, Adam Kraut.

And I'm like, we kind of don't celebrate our wins.

And we only point out the negatives when we're at each other's throat.

Second Amendment Foundation and the NRA, along with California Rifle and Pistol Association, Second Amendment Law Center, Minnesota Gun Owners, and Citizens Committee for Right to Keep and Wear Arms.

They got involved in this.

They've got some amicus briefs that were filed on the 15th in September, and they're ready to go take on the Eighth Circuit decision saying, listen, it is not historically... accurate and they're basing all that on Bruin.

He wrote an amicus brief in a Bruin case that Justice Alito cited.

He's been outside counsel to the Second Amendment Foundation.

He's done media work connected to President Trump's disputes with networks.

He's also on the Nolan Wells matter in Mississippi, representing three of the late teen's friends and sending blistering demands demand letters over on air accusations.

He authored a key Supreme Court amicus brief in the landmark 2022 Bruin case that was directly cited by Justice Samuel Alito.

He serves as litigation director for the National Constitutional Law Union and outside counsel to the Second Amendment Foundation, among many, many other things.

Now, they're going to come after him, the attorneys will.

They'll come after him.

People need to understand, these seven sheriffs, the seven of us, saved the Second Amendment entirely.

More than the NRA, more than Gun Owners of America, more than Second Amendment Foundation, those groups are lawsuit-oriented.

We are boots on the ground to decide whether or not we're going to enforce these monstrosities, what the founding fathers called pretended legislation.
