Now, the mayor of Secaucus, that's Michael Ganelli said, Said the spill was a result of a computer glitch.

And in over 25 years, there's never been a problem before.

Now, this computer glitch allegedly is what let this diesel fuel out into the system.

And that upset a number of people who said, what are we doing? What's the point of having this? It's hard to argue with that.

So from Canton, Ohio, to Secaucus, New Jersey, voters have been voted off the island.

Getting the notification now among the high profile names that are no longer part of the process to elect members to the Hall of Fame.

Obviously, there's been a lot of debate about data centers lately, but let's get into what we know here.

So according to the mayor of Secaucus, about 5,500 gallons of diesel spilled from a tank at the Equinix data center last Friday, September 11th.

And the mayor tells us it was caused by a computer glitch.

Right now he says it's about three-fourths of the way cleaned, and these barriers are keeping it to this section of the tributary and not getting into the larger river.

The DEP says that there's no drinking water intake in the area and no impacts to wildlife have been reported.

Oh, really? It's worth noting that this isn't a new data center.

Equinix has been in Secaucus for 20 years.

They tell us an investigation is underway to determine exactly what happened here and to make sure it never happens again.

That's coming up on the 19th of September.
