Sebring

It is.

And, of course, lots of pictures from Sebring and Daytona, which was back in the day of the 917s and the 512s.

That Can-Am 917, the Can-Am Killer, they called it, with 1,500 horsepower.

To tame something like that, you had to be a hell of a driver.

But yeah, we do sort of 10-hour races.

We do a 12-hour race at Sebring, a bunch of different 24-hour races all around the world.

So it's very challenging, and it's a different level for... for racing drivers, you know, as far as fitness goes and being able to sort of keep your mind strong when you're getting tired.

So it is a challenge that I enjoy in racing.

That was sort of his main thing.

But his dream was always, you know, the Le Mans 24 hours.

And he used to go and watch Sebring every year.

And it was sort of what he always loved was the endurance racing.

It's going to be a pretty short turnaround for us this year because we won't get to New Zealand until...

The 15th to the 20th of December, because I've got a historic Porsche to run at the Sebring 12-hour early December.

So it's going to be pretty hectic early on, but it's going to be great to get back.

And we'll probably stay two or three weeks after the last race, which we've never been able to do before.

we need to finish all of our testing throughout Europe which is Silverstone, Monza, Imola, Motorland coming here, Dakota in December and Sebring and then our durability test is in January and mixed in there we have wind tunnel testing of course our own wind tunnel testing but also officially as part of the homologation so like i said it's a lot of testing to do a lot of paperwork and homologation to to get through but can't wait to get through that and have the car on track

yeah get that get that and find out what's going on How much more difficult have Genesis made your job this year because they've come out with their first year car and actually been really very competitive they've already scored points we always talk about how dangerous it is sometimes to set goals but has that race had to raise everybody's expectations back at Ford Racing?

Yeah, we race to win everywhere we go.
