Jonny PalmerHOST

One or two, remember, have already got pit stops in the bank, so they will be slightly... better off for energy than others and I'll remind you that Gray Newell's pitted, Alexander West has pitted, Stefano Gattuso pitted in their Aston, McLaren and Fords respectively but back to race speed for the race leader Sebastian Buemi and already the overtaking is about to continue with James Collado having a very good run on Sebastian Bourdais both cars are glued to the right hand side Will Stevens once more struggling through turn one and was up alongside an Alpine but that was the Alpine trying to take the place away from him Jules Gounon and Gounon in number 36 heading through turn four now or turn three rather and down into four so It's Buemi leading from Phil Hansen in second in the 83 Ferrari.
Jonny PalmerHOST
49:03
Big squirm from one of the Aston Martins.
Jonny PalmerHOST
11:59
A big welcome back to Alex Lin.
Jonny PalmerHOST
12:02
who is driving that 12 car again, back after a lengthy injury, and the 38 car has Earl Bamber, Sebastian Bourdais, and Jack Aitken waiting in the wings, probably Jack will close things out, Brendan Hartley keen for another stint, and he takes a well-deserved glug of water, maybe a bit of energy drink as well, electrolytes, And the splitter gets a good clean too.
Jonny PalmerHOST
12:30
So Toyota have some room at their pit stop, you know, slacking the time, if you like, to allow for some aesthetic improvement on that number eight Toyota.
Jonny PalmerHOST

That is because the tyre change has not yet commenced.
Aaron NoonanHOST

Jack PerkinsPANELIST

Craig KingGUEST

And I, and I think that's what made it fantastic was, I think that's what really made it a great challenge, was because it was, well, these are the gods, and if they can't win, then they're not Superman anymore, you know? And, uh, that, that was really, I think it was the one time that, u- unless you were French, because of course you had the hometown hero, Sébastien Bourdais-
RyanHOST
31:56
Yeah
Craig KingGUEST
31:56
... uh, in that Peugeot.
Bruce JonesHOST

Endless messaging to the drivers, but that, it's little battle, fourth, fifth, and sixth.

Brendan Hartley, Toyota, Alex Riberas, Aston Martin, Sebastian Bourdais, second driver on board the number 38, uh, Cadillac.

Bruce JonesHOST
39:40
Again, more windscreen wiper action on the, on the 009 Aston Martin going out to see if Brendan Hartley's going round the outside of a GT3 car.
Bruce JonesHOST
42:41
You just go boom, boom, boom.
Jonny PalmerHOST
42:42
Yeah.
Jonny PalmerHOST
42:43
It is incredible how, uh, th- these hypercars, uh, they look quick, but it's only when you put a GT alongside them and you go, "Oh, my word, they really are phenomenal out of some of these corners." The Cadillacs look so strong out of 16 all weekend, and no wonder that, uh, Sebastian Bourdais is able then to catch up with these two cars at a fair rate of knots.
Jonny PalmerHOST
43:05

Jonny PalmerHOST
51:47
Oh, yes, and a tag.
Jonny PalmerHOST
51:54
And Sébastien Bourdais says he could not understand the car under braking.
Jonny PalmerHOST
52:00
Now, I don't know whether he's talking about his own car under brakes or whether he was suggesting that the McLaren braked a little earlier and the car immediately behind it.
Jonny PalmerHOST
52:10
I'm just trying to work out whether that was the other Cadillac that may have been hooked up in that incident as well.
