Searcy

There was a year that out of 80 kids, I had 22 students that had a perfect writing score.

From Searcy, Arkansas.

Wow.

Such an impressive, good to know.

And so that's what this book is.

It's their story.

And it's all set in my little hometown here of Searcy, Arkansas.

The second book is called The Non-Negotiable.

You know, it wasn't just, "I think everybody could do a better job of singing here." It was, you know, for the purpose that they were there.

Wanting to continue his education at a Christian college, Botham attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Despite being thousands of miles from his home in Saint Lucia, Botham's mother said he would go home every year while in college to show his friends and classmates where he came from and to volunteer at the local orphanage.

His parents said he also called every Sunday, which is nice, too.

That will probably be for the Great American Conference title.

It's in Searcy.

So if both of those programs aren't looking ahead, uh, this week, that'll be a big game in Searcy in two weeks.

Okay.

Um, there were some surprises in high school football this last weekend, Coach, for me at least.

I don't like them that, I don't like them that much.

So [laughs] we bought our Kia, we leased our Kia from Everett Kia, which is about 35, 40 minutes away in Searcy, Arkansas.

So I called them up, asked them what was going on.

They said, "Bring it on up here.

They gave me some coffee, gave me some ch- snacks while I'm sitting there, and she comes out and she says, "We got a diagnosis for you." And I said, "What is it?" They said, "It's the battery management module." I said, "Okay, that's interesting.

That's something I haven't heard of," and wasn't sure.

And I was like, "Are you sure it's not the I..." So then I was asking her, I was like, "Are you sure it's not the ICCU?" She's like, "Nope, I know what that..." And this lady was very knowledgeable on EVs from being in Searcy, Arkansas, which is kind of like a, a, a, it's, it's a, it's a big, it's a big town, but it's not in a very populated area.

It's kind of a little seclude.

Yeah, yeah.

Or I can call the one who lives, who's just moved to Searcy, Arkansas to start school and say, "Okay, tell me all about the first day of school."

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Which is, strangely looks a lot like Searcy, which is not my hometown, but very near my hometown.

Okay.

And I say Searcy because it is a tiny town, but it has the infrastructure that Rosewood does not.

Um, Stars Hollow has, like, the quintessential gazebo and the bed and breakfast.

Not an Airbnb, mind you.
