Sean Shapiro

I will be flying.

The reason you may ask, Sean, why are you flying into Montreal? Sean, why are you

flying into Montreal with the games? Oh, yeah.

Yes, exactly.

There's no way I can lose that bet.

We talked to the— TikTok former traffic cop, Sean Shapiro.

And one of the people sending in a question, this was a couple of weeks ago.

You got an intersection.

He asked you to let him know what your absolute favorite driving food was.

Sean Shapiro, the former TikTok traffic cop, is going to join me and he's going to break down for us.

What foods are you actually allowed to eat in your car?

The newest tracks.

Now that is some specifics when it comes to eating and driving.

But the question is, and Jim actually said this to me before the show, is it really bad to encourage people to talk about what they're doing when they're eating and driving? Because maybe that's not the safest way to use your car on our highways and our byways.

The person we thought we could have this conversation with is the former TikTok traffic cop, Sean Shapiro, and he joins me now.

Hey, Sean.

There are a lot of reasons for it.

If you're to believe the reporting of Sean Shapiro, it's because instead of having a cabinet like our dear President Abraham Lincoln had here in the United States-

Mm

... and that Steve Yzerman had in the, with Tampa Bay, where guys like Julian BriseBois were allowed to have a voice in the proceedings, Yzerman became a megalomaniac.

The Dallas Stars opened their season tonight at the American Airlines Center, taking on the St. Louis Blues.

Joining us to preview the season is Sean Shapiro, the national hockey writer with Elite Prospects.

Hey, Sean.

Hey, how's it going?

And it's a fascinating understory to all of this.

And we've seen when players do in a contract year, it might be one of the best versions of Jason Robertson too, which is one of the funnier things about it to talk about long-term stress on something for a franchise, but maybe some short-term benefit when you talk about watching this team this season.

Sean Shapiro, a national hockey writer with Elite Prospects.

Thank you so much.

Too slow.

Sean Shapiro, by the way, had a good piece on, on Yzerman the other day about the idea of-

Yep

... like, what went wrong there, and I think one, he made a really good point, which is that he didn't have a Julien BriseBois there.

Welcome to episodes 27 of Algorithmically Incorrect Hockey.

I am your host, Robert Tiffin, here with your other host, Sean Shapiro.

Unless you think I'm your other host and he's your host, I can't really tell you what to think, although that's what we're going to do here for a little while.

So welcome to the show, Sean.

That was quite – our playing music is quite a bop sometimes.

Sometimes it just kind of gets you going and nothing like it's the Wednesday afternoon juices flowing.

But when you look at the Chris Drapers of the world, who I think is actually not a bad scouting director.

Doesn't fight and push back against Iserman.
