Sean Patrick Thomas

There were a lot of things I missed.

I went home after being in the ballroom and watched all the dances again and got to see the moment of Ezra with Sean Patrick Thomas behind him with the head bop.

You know, you miss that in the ballroom because I was looking at Julia.

Right.

Everyone has been waiting for.

They did a jazz to Jenny from the Block, the Trackmasters remix by Jennifer Lopez featuring Jadakiss and Styles P of the Locks.

I don't know, Kim, if you are a big Save the Last Dance fan, but we also got a cameo by her co-star Sean Patrick Thomas hanging there with Ezra.

What did you think of this dance?

Such a small role.

And, like, I get, uh, Sean Patrick Thomas, a little bit bigger of a role.

He even has the special appearance credit, which alone feels like-

So weird

Mm-hmm.

Do you...

The, Sean Patrick Thomas isn't just like, "Hey, just point of contention here, my fucking trainer's telling me the opposite."

Did you-

I was so thrilled with this.

Her dance played on her actual dance from the movie, and her co-star from the movie was there, Sean Patrick Thomas.

There was a part where she was doing her solo dance, and they cut to the side, and you could see Ezra, and he was standing right next to her.

There is a part from the movie where she is dancing-

During the October 13th show, AKA Super Bowl night, the actress and her partner, Ezra Sosa, did a hip hop and ballet combo to Jennifer Lopez's hit, Jenny From the Block.

And the routine was a total homage to Stiles' 2001 flick, Save the Last Dance, where she played Sara Johnson, a ballet dancer whose dream it is to get into Juilliard and who falls in love with hip hop dancer and medical school hopeful Derek, played by Sean Patrick Thomas.

Fast-forward to 2026, and just like in the film, Stiles showed off her mix of ballet and hip hop choreo for the judges, with Sean Patrick supporting her from the sidelines alongside Ezra, jackets slung over their shoulders, Derek style.

Before getting their scores, Julia shared her relief at getting another chance to save her most infamous dance.

Relative humidity's somewhere between 5 and 15%.

How many times have I watched the Save the Last Dance tribute from Dancing with the Stars with Julia Stiles and Sean Patrick Thomas watching with his jacket over his shoulder? No shortage of maybe four times.

I know that means nothing to you, but every woman-

[laughs] Good

Yeah.

Rob at one point said, Sean, Sean, Sean Patrick Thomas, I think is his name, uh, who was in the movie with her was there too.

And like he did a little bit.

And so it was, it was fantastic.

I was so thrilled with this.

Her dance played on her actual dance from the movie and her co-star from the movie was there.

There is a part from the movie where she is dancing and he is standing off to the side, just admiring her.
